Publication Process

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). To prove the originality, you must provide the scanned Statement of Originality that have been added with materai and your signature. You can upload this file in the Submission Procedures as Supplementary file.
  • The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format.
  • For references, Jurnal Sociora suggests to use citation tools (like Bibliography in Ms. Word, Endnote, but we recommend Mendeley). Where available, URLs for the references must be provided. For citations and references format, if you need for the application for your dekstop about reference management please go to Mendeley website.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. The Article that does not follow the Author guidelines will be returned for editing and may miss being published in Jurnal Sociora.
  • Please check on your profile, fulfill phone number box for better communication, and do not use email based on Yahoo, because for privacy issue using this journal platform (you may use your primary email from gmail).

  • Upload your statement of originality and upload as supplementary files and please add English title for your article if article in Bahasa Indonesia.
